The Summertime Blues 2002

Jazz in the ParkSummertime and the living is easy. As much as I love Eddie Cochran, he was wrong when he said "there ain't no cure for the summertime blues." There is. And it's the blues at its best. Get into the rhythm with ribs, beer n' barbeque and picnics on the grass. Remember. The blues make you happy.

Let's not forget the offspring of the blues - jazz. There'll be plenty of jazzy sounds filling the parks of Las Vegas and other outdoor venues such as the Fremont Experience. So grab your partner, pack a lunch, and prepare to enjoy the beautiful southwest weather and the jazz n' blues that will fill the air. Below you'll find a list of outdoor festivities. And check out the Jazz Events Calendar for interactive information such as artists and venue websites. Or the abbreviated jazzCalendar and bluesCalendar for a select listing of jazz n' blues events. Enjoy the summer.
