Candye Kane made her recording debut singing alternative country on the second Town South of Bakersfield anthology. She soon switched to blues and jump boogie, with some rockabilly thrown in for good measure. Candye signed with Antone's Records in 1994 and Homecookin' was released. This was followed by Knockout in 1995. Ms. Kane presently records for Rounder Records and continues to entrance audiences with her eclectic brand of blues.
