Las Vegas Blues
Opening with an instrumental, Kid Ramos brought his band to Las Vegas. No, not the Fabulous Thunderbirds, his new band that he showed off during this song. Ron Pjubla played a saxophone solo then Red Young made his B-3 organ scream. Finally, the Kid showed the fingerwork that he's done for years to the fans at the Railhead.
Singer and harmonica player Lynwood Slim joined the band for "DON'T BE MESSING WITH MY RENT." Pjubla played a romantic sax solo for "I'M SO IN LOVE WITH YOU." Drummer James Intveld kept the pace going on "GOING DOWN SLOW" and "I'M NOT YOUR CLOWN". Slim then picked up the flute for "WHY I CHOOSE TO SING THE BLUES."
Lynwood Slim was then featured on the next two songs, "I GOT THE BLUES SO BAD" and "I BELIEVE." Kid Ramos then strutted his stuff on a guitar boogie that gave the fans what they came for. Leaving the Fabulous Thunderbirds has given Kid Ramos a chance to show off the talent that he couldn't let out playing with them.
